Moscow for planespotters
Activity: And Beyond Destination: Moscow Season: Middle of May- Middle of September Days: 8
For years, the planes potters (aviation enthusiasts) were regarded as spies in Russia. There are still a lot of prejudices against the people with a small notebook, a pen and a set of binoculars hanging in the vicinity of an airport. Since 1995 our staff has been doing its best to dispel the myth that plane spotting is a threat to national security. Our tourist company offers 3-4 day programs for plane spotters. We can satisfy all groups of plane spotters: those who take pictures of aircrafts, collect the tail numbers or are fond of civil, general and historic aviation. The itinerary covers all major airports in Moscow and its vicinity: the ramp tours to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Bikovo, Vnukovo re-work facilities, Egoryevsk and Kaluga Aviation Colleges, Aircraft museums in Monino, Khodinka, World War II Memorial and Central Armed Forces Museum (Red Army Museum) in Moscow.
In addition, we arrange 20-30 minute experience flights on board An-2, An-12, Yak 18, Yak 18-T, Yak-52, in private sports fields (former DOSAAF) - Zmeevo, Korobcheevo, Stupino, Drakino.
ANY ADDITIONAL VISIT TO THE TOURS CAN BE ADDED UPON REQUEST. ALL THE RAMP TOURS ARE ORGANIZED FOR GROUPS OF MINIMUM 20-25 PEOPLE IN THE GROUP |
